Cookie scanner opens your storefront in a real browser, the way a visitor would. It records the cookies set before any choice, then accepts the banner and records what appears after. Cookies only a server can see are included too.
- Open Cookie scanner and start a scan. Progress is shown as it runs.
- If your store is password-protected, enter the storefront password when asked.
- Review the results. Each cookie is matched against the Open Cookie Database, a public catalogue of thousands of known cookies, and given a category.
- Change a cookie's Category if yours is used differently.
Note: The scanner checks your storefront's home page. Cookies set only on other pages, such as a particular product page, may not appear.
Automatic scanning
On Pro, Automatic scanning repeats the scan daily, weekly or monthly, keeps a history of every scan and lets you export the cookie list as CSV. The Free plan includes one scan per month.
