Which buttons visitors see
On the Display rules tab, Consent type sets the choices on the banner: combinations of Accept, Reject, Preferences and Do not sell or share, with an optional close icon. Where a law requires an opt-in, keep a Reject option as easy to reach as Accept.
Ask again after controls how long a visitor's choice lasts before the banner asks again — 6 or 12 months.
Under USA opt-out signals, Pro stores can show a short confirmation when a US visitor opts out.
What the banner says
The Content tab holds the wording: the heading, the message, button labels and the preferences panel text. Edit it in your default language here, and other languages under Translation — see Show the banner in your visitors' language.
Policy links
Also on the Content tab, Policy links adds a link to your privacy policy and your cookie policy. The privacy policy link is filled in from your Shopify store policies; each link can be shown or hidden.
