Cookie categories
Visitors who open Preferences see four categories, each with its own switch:
- Strictly necessary — always on. The cookies your store needs to work, such as the cart.
- Functional — remembers choices like language or region.
- Analytics — measures how visitors use your store.
- Marketing — advertising and retargeting pixels.
A Show cookies link lists well-known cookies in each category, so visitors can see what they are agreeing to.
The reopen button
Privacy laws expect withdrawing consent to be as easy as giving it. The reopen button is a small button that stays on the page after a visitor has chosen, so they can open their preferences again at any time.
- Open Cookie banner → Design and find Reopen button.
- Switch on Show a reopen button.
- Choose an icon — cookie, shield, lock or sliders — or upload your own logo (PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG, up to 500 KB). Show the icon alone or with text.
- Pick bottom-left or bottom-right, a size (optionally a different one on mobile) and colours, or match the banner.
